Automated Financial Systems, LLC, (AFS) was incorporated in New York with its first full year of operation in 1994. Our core team of veterans from other top industry firms brought with them a diverse expertise across the financial, technology and patient care areas of the medical receivable processing business. That same team is still in place today, continuing to ensure that our services are the most innovative, dependable, and high-performing in the entire industry.

With our expertise and knowledge of the health-care field, combined with a strong data processing background, we’ve created an optimized methodology to serve this market. As of July 1st, 2020 AFS provides patient billing services for eleven hospitals as well as several clinics and faculty practices in the New York metropolitan area. This translates to placements in excess of twenty-six million dollars per month.

We employ professionals who are knowledgeable and well versed in all aspects of claim submission, re-billing, adjustment claims and third party appeal processes. Our account managers receive extensive and ongoing training regarding local, state and federal requirements as well as software program changes and system updates. We provide training in professional development, industry recovery techniques and customer service skills. Our representatives are also thoroughly trained in HIPAA privacy regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
